cyberUPLIFT 2025

About

Thanks to a successful bid to Innovate UK’s Cyber Local Fund, TECwomen has been awarded funding to deliver a 9 week cyber security skills training programme for women in Cornwall from January to March 2025. cyberUPLIFT is a hybrid programme led by TECwomen CIC that aims to address two critical challenges: the increasing online threats faced by women and the severe lack of gender diversity in the cyber security industry, particularly in rurally dispersed regions such as Cornwall. By equipping participants with the skills to protect themselves online and offering pathways into cyber security careers, cyberUPLIFT creates a unique opportunity to empower participants while addressing local and national talent shortages. Creating a springboard for women and people whose gender expression is underrepresented in the cyber security sector to enter junior level roles or pursue further training opportunities.
