MEET THE TEAM BEHIND UPLIFT

Founder & Director
Caitlin Gould
Caitlin Gould is the Founder and Director of TECwomen CIC, which supports women and underrepresented genders to access opportunities in technology, engineering, and creative digital industries. With over 15 years of experience in product development, design, and digital strategy, she brings practical expertise to her work in tech education.

She created TECwomen’s first major programme, digitalUPLIFT, in partnership with Truro & Penwith College. Since 2022, the programme has provided accessible training focused on confidence, community, and digital skills.

Caitlin continues to shape content development and delivers in-person workshops, particularly around the use of Artificial Intelligence in career development and digital literacy.

Operations Director
Suzanne Terry
Suzanne (Manson) Terry is the Operations Director at TECwomen CIC and a key contributor to the digitalUPLIFT programme. With over 20 years’ experience in digital and tech - spanning roles at Orange, Virgin Media, Lloyds Banking Group, and Cornwall Council.

Suzanne designs and delivers course content, mentors participants, and supports in-person sessions. A specialist in digital transformation, she now applies that expertise to addressing gender imbalance in tech, advocating for more inclusive, diverse teams.

She produced the CIoS Digital Skills Report and regularly engages with local employers to connect training with real opportunities. Seeing confidence grow and mindsets shift is what motivates her most.

Operations Manager
Natasha Murray
Natasha oversees the financial functions of TECwomen, ensuring the non-profit runs smoothly. She also supports monitoring and impact measurement and work with some of our funders on reporting and compliance.

She particularly enjoys working on the impact side, seeing how valuable it is to clearly demonstrate the difference that programmes like UPLIFT are making - not just for funders, but to inspire future supporters and partners too.

With a background in retail and project management, she's enjoyed helping shape our admin and finance systems as the Community Interest Company has grown from strength to strength. Feeling the rewards of contributing to this growth behind the scenes and being part of a purpose-driven team making a real difference.

Programme Delivery Manager
Ellie Smith
Ellie is TECwomen’s Programme Delivery Manager, since joining the team in early 2024 one of her main responsibilities has been heading up the delivery of our various UPLIFT programmes. Whether it’s organising workshops, managing online learning content, or getting to connect with our brilliant participants.
With a background in History and Museums, she is living proof that you don’t need a tech background to work in the tech/digital world. It’s pretty hard to miss Ellie if you’re a part of an UPLIFT programme or event, she’ll be your main point of contact for most of our courses, so if you’d like to learn more about UPLIFT and what it has to offer you she’s always happy to arrange a chat.
