For many women starting and growing a business, conversations around finance can feel intimidating, confusing or off-limits. Questions like How do I fund my business?, How do I pay myself? or What should I be doing about tax? often go unanswered.

The Female Founders Finance Brunch has been created to tackle that.

This relaxed, practical event is designed to help female founders start the year with clarity and confidence around finance. It is not about sales pitches, inaccessible funding programmes or formal presentations. Instead, it focuses on honest conversations, shared experiences and practical guidance in a supportive, informal setting.

Over brunch, you will have the opportunity to connect with fellow female founders and speak directly with a small group of trusted experts, including Jackie George, an experienced bid writer and project manager specialising in grant funding and investment readiness, Rachael Malthouse, founder of Jam Up! and a researcher with lived experience of building and scaling a grant-funded platform, and Laura Whyte, an experienced accountant who supports founders to navigate the practical realities of business finance.

There are no slides, no speeches and no pressure. Just open discussion, real stories and space to ask the questions that often feel hardest to voice.
