Sea Sessions: Women in Tech Week Edition

TECwomen are diving into Women in Tech Week with our signature Sea Sessions networking event!

What is it?

Sea Sessions is about more than just networking - it's TECwomen’s opportunity to bring together women, people of underrepresented genders, and allies in tech, engineering, and creative digital industries in a setting that’s relaxed, inspiring, and right by the sea. Hosted outdoors with fresh sea air and a friendly, informal atmosphere, Sea Sessions are for everyone; whether you're brave enough to get in the water or prefer to stay with feet firmly on the sand with a cup of tea in hand! There are no name tags, no rigid agendas, just supportive conversations, and the chance to discover new opportunities in a setting that feels more like a meetup with friends.

When is it?

As it's a Monday morning, you have the option of joining us from 8:00 for an 8:30am dip if you've got to get to work. But for those who are later risers or who have to do the school run, we will be doing a second later dip at 9:30. Boardmasters Beach Bar opens for coffee from 9am, so if you just want to network and don't fancy the sea please feel free to join us for a hot drink from 9-10!

What happens (other than swimming)?

Do you need to work in tech?

Absolutely not! We've had artists, designers, writers, and friends join. We are a friendly open community and we welcome everyone.

This is a free event , but we would love for you to RSVP so we know how many chairs to save for you!
